Your first rave: a guide to lasting the night

Ticket, clothing, earplugs, hydration, safer team: what to know before your first warehouse night.

A first warehouse night is not an exam. But a few reflexes change everything: you enjoy more, you last longer, and you get home in one piece. Here is what we wish someone had told us before our first time.

Before: the ticket and the outfit

Tickets are sold in advance, on the event's ticketing page. The exact address sometimes lands late, and that is the point: a space taken over for one night is not a club with a sign. Everything arrives through the event channel, just follow it.

Clothing: layers. A warehouse is cold at the door, burning in front of the system, cold again outside. Closed shoes that can take eight hours standing, a top that breathes, and a jacket you leave at the cloakroom when there is one. That is exactly the brief behind our clothing: built to last a whole night.

During: the pace

The night is long, and that is its beauty. Nobody holds eight hours flat out.

  • Water, regularly. Not when you are thirsty: before. A pass by the bar every hour is a good metronome.
  • Breaks. Stepping away from the wall of sound for ten minutes is not weakness, it is what lets you go back in.
  • Filtered earplugs. Made for music, they lower the level without smothering the sound. Your ears only get one life, and prevention bodies like Agi-Son have repeated it for twenty years.
  • The safer team. On our nights, an identifiable team is there from start to finish. Feeling unwell, someone crossing a line, any doubt: go see them, no justification needed. The full charter lives on the events page.

And one rule that needs no development: consent. Organisations like Consentis do deep work on this across nightlife; with us it is zero tolerance, a condition of entry.

After: getting home and recovering

Plan your way back before you leave: our nights end at sunrise, often just outside Paris, and the first metro has to be earned. The next day, give your ears silence and your body sleep. A good night's fatigue is paid in cash, never on credit.

The essential

Come as you are. Nobody will judge your outfit, your dancing or your knowledge of the line-up. The room does the rest. Upcoming dates are on the events page.
